In Nigeria, Rudeboy Distances Himself From Explosive Okoye Family Feud

 

As the long running Okoye family feud continues to dominate headlines in Nigeria, Rudeboy's management has now stepped in to draw a clear line between the singer and the latest public exchange involving his brothers, Peter Okoye and Jude Okoye. It appears someone has decided that enough names have already been dragged into the conversation.

Fire Department Inc., the management company representing Rudeboy, released an official statement saying it is aware of the public conversations surrounding recent developments within the Okoye family. However, the management maintained that personal and family matters should be handled with dignity, respect and responsibility instead of becoming endless public battles.

The statement also made it clear that Rudeboy will not be drawn into exchanging allegations or making comments capable of escalating the already heated dispute. In other words, while everyone else is busy choosing sides, his camp is choosing the exit door.

According to the management, Rudeboy remains focused on his music, his supporters and the career he has continued to build over the years. Fire Department Inc. stressed that it has no intention of allowing ongoing family disagreements to distract from his professional commitments or become the centre of attention.

The management also expressed appreciation to fans for their continued support and appealed to the public and media organisations to avoid speculation while relying only on verified information regarding the situation. The statement reinforces the message that Rudeboy should not be linked to claims or accusations arising from the ongoing disagreement between Peter and Jude Okoye.

At this stage, the Okoye family story seems determined to keep producing fresh episodes whether anyone asks for them or not. The only difference now is that one camp has officially hung a sign saying kindly leave us out of this family meeting because not every surname automatically comes with a speaking role.
