Ighodaro is making waves in South Africa because the striker has joined the Kaizer Chiefs football club ahead of the 2025-2026 season. He has also applied for a visa and will travel to the Netherlands with Amakosi. 23 year old Etiosa Ighodaro who's a Nigerian, spent last season on loan at AmaZulu.

Prior to signing with Kaizer Chiefs, Etiosa Ighodaro has been loaned out to different PSL teams, including Chippa United, SuperSport United.
