US and Iran Teams Hold Over Two-Hour Meeting in Rome

 



U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff met with an Iranian delegation in Rome on Friday, engaging in more than two hours of discussions focused on Tehran’s nuclear program. The talks were described as constructive, with both sides noting progress but acknowledging that there is still work to be done. 


Both parties agreed to hold another meeting in the near future, facilitated by their Oman counterparts, who continue to play a mediating role in the ongoing negotiations.
