(In Uganda) President Museveni and Prime Minister Nabbanja Lead PDM Zonal Tour in Greater Luwero to Boost Local Economy

 

The Presidential Parish Development Model (PDM) Zonal Tour is currently underway in Greater Luwero, Uganda, showcasing local economic transformation efforts.

Led by President Museveni and Prime Minister Nabbanja, the tour addresses challenges in fund disbursement, promotes agricultural innovation, and champions community engagement.

The initiative aims to transition households from subsistence to commercial productivity, reinforcing government commitment to inclusive development at the grassroots level.

During the tour, issues such as delayed fund utilisation and outdated data systems were highlighted, with calls for improved digital record-keeping.

The tour is seen as a critical step in ensuring accountability and enhancing the Parish Development Model’s long-term impact.
