In a significant breakthrough, authorities have recovered a VW Polo in Durban, which they believe was used to pick up Mongale by an unidentified individual she was reportedly meeting for a date. This discovery marks a critical step in piecing together the events leading to her death. Further escalating the case, SAPS has issued a public appeal for information regarding two men, Fezile Ngubane and Philangenkosi Sibongokuhle Makhanya, who are now wanted in connection with the ongoing investigation.
