The quiet village of Eziagu in Enugu was shaken to its core when residents uncovered a horrifying secret hidden behind the lavish lifestyle of a self-proclaimed billionaire, Ezeani, known as "Ichie Million". What seemed like an ordinary soakaway pit in his home was, in reality, a mass grave—filled with the decomposing bodies of his victims, including pregnant women.
According to witnesses, the man lured his victims under false pretenses before burying them alive in a twisted bid for ritual wealth. The discovery sent the community into a frenzy, with enraged villagers taking matters into their own hands. His mansion was set ablaze, and an associate found inside was stripped, severely beaten, and paraded through the village in humiliation.
Ironically, the accused was once a celebrated figure—flaunting his wealth at parties, showering crowds with cash, and basking in the title of "big man." His shocking downfall serves as a chilling warning: not all fortunes are earned honestly, and some are built on unspeakable evil.

Flamboyant Lifestyle Masks Dark Crimes
Known for spraying cash at parties, Obieze had gone into hiding with his four wives before his arrest. The NIS confirmed his identity via an NIMC slip found on him, and he reportedly admitted to the crimes during interrogation.
The Service has pledged to hand him over to the police for further investigation, reaffirming its commitment to border security.
Gruesome Discoveries Spark Community Outrage
The suspect, a resident of Umuojor village in Isiagu Community, Enugu State, had been declared wanted by the police following the discovery of two decomposing bodies of pregnant women in a soakaway pit on his premises. The horrifying find came after locals rescued a 13-year-old girl abducted days earlier.
According to reports, the girl was seized while walking to a farm with her father. Two men on a motorcycle had staged a breakdown, luring the father into assisting them before snatching the child.
“They begged him to help push the bike, and in the process, one grabbed the girl and sped off,” a source recounted.
Vigilantes traced screams to Obieze’s compound, overpowered him, and freed the girl. A subsequent search uncovered the corpses, igniting violent protests. A viral video showed villagers dragging a naked Obieze through the community in disgrace.
Operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) have apprehended a wanted Enugu-based native doctor, Levi Obieze, alias 'E de play, e de show,’ accused of abduction, kidnapping, and ritual killings.
The arrest was confirmed on Thursday by the Comptroller-General of the NIS, Kemi Nandap, in a statement by the Service’s Public Relations Officer, Akinsola Akinlabi.
Obieze was intercepted at the Gbaji checkpoint along the Badagry-Seme route while attempting to flee Nigeria on a motorcycle. Credible intelligence led to his capture by the Lagos State Border Patrol Command.
