Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Celebrates 117th Khilafat Day Anniversary

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is celebrating a significant milestone - the 117th anniversary of Khilafat Day. This occasion honors the divinely guided institution established in 1908, following the passing of its founder, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

Celebrations honour the spiritual leadership that began with Hazrat Hakim Maulvi Nuruddin and continues today with Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth Khalifa, uniting millions of followers under peaceful religious guidance.

The day is observed through special gatherings, lectures, poetry, and Qur’an recitations held by Ahmadiyya communities worldwide, from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

These events reinforce the values of unity, faith, and spiritual leadership.

The institution of Khilafat is seen as a source of divine light and global peace, offering moral direction and cohesion for the community in an increasingly divided world.
