 Senegal is trending in Nigeria because vice president Kashim Shettima is currently representing President Tinubu in Senegal, Dakar, in honour of an invitation to the country's 65th Independence Day celebration taking place today, April 4.

Vice president Kashim Shettima's departure from the country has generated irritation from netizens who have wondered why the President and VP chose to simultaneously depart the country, leaving the country without any of its two principal leaders. President Tinubu is currently in France on a two week "working visit".
