However, some key figures are notably absent. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, both facing international arrest warrants, will not attend the funeral.

 In place of Putin, Russia will be represented by Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova. Similarly, Israel will send its ambassador to the Holy See, Yaron Sideman, in lieu of Netanyahu.

The dress code for the event has been strictly enforced, with male attendees required to wear dark suits and black ties, while female attendees must wear black dresses, gloves, and veils.
