A first-year student at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), tragically took his own life after discovering his girlfriend's infidelity, sparking widespread outrage and concern among Ghanaians.
According to further reports, the deceased identified by his nickname Khon Void, hung himself one day after he found his girlfriend in bed with another man.

Emerging accounts have revealed that prior to reaching the decision to commit suicide, the young student first collapse on the day he discovered his girlfriend in bed with another fellow at the Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme (GUSSS) Hall Two.
Despite the fact that he was nursed to consciousness by schoolmates, Khon Void took his own life the next day, leaving behind a suicide note.
