Czech President Petr Pavel Arrives in Ghana for Historic Visit to Strengthen Trade Ties.

Petr Pavel is trending in Ghana because the president of Czech Republic has arrived Accra, as the second leg of his two day working visit to Africa.

President Pavel was received at the airport by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, marking the first time a Czechoslovak head of state has visited Ghana in 60 years.

Petr Pavel's visit to Africa started yesterday April 7 with Mauritania where he became the first Czech or Czechoslovak head of state to visit the country.

Accompanied by a business delegation, Pavel aims to strengthen trade ties, particularly in defence, mining, and environmental technologies with these countries.
