Speaking of his career, Rema stated that his impact in Afrobeats has thus far, been huge and music isn't really about hit songs but about impact in a chosen genre of music. Citing an example of his influence, the young music star asserted that the creation of an award category just for his sake, is a testament to his influence and how deserving he is to be on the "Big 4" list of superstars.  Referring to his extended influence on the international scene, Rema listed concerts and performances which drew huge crowds in different cities in India.  Despite his self-praise of his current standing in the music industry,  the "Baby Calm Down" crooner claimed to not be in the habit of speaking of his achievements in his musical career, he also revealed that he never places any of his awards or plaques in places where he could constantly have them in his line of vision.
