Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, founder of Adeleke University and father of music star Davido, has donated the sum of 1 billion naira to the Cherubim and Seraphim(C&S) Church in honour of his late mother, Nnenna Esther Adeleke. Dr Adeleke made the donation during a Thanksgiving service held in his mother's honour at the church's headquarters located in Lagos via The C&S Centenary Endowment Fund.

In the course of the Thanksgiving service, Dr Adedeji Adeleke's brother, Ademola Adeleke, who's also the governor of Osun state, stole public attention with his magnificent dance skills displayed at the church. In attendance at the Thanksgiving service were Nigerian politicians and influential personalities from all walks of life, some of whom included governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun and Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
