Music promoter and socialite, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, better known as Sam Larry, has received a great deal of social media backlash over his Sallah Day outfit. The socialite took to his official social media page to post a photo of himself wrapped sarong style in a piece of white fabric while wishing his fans and followers a happy celebration. Reacting mockingly to the photo, netizens assured Sam Larry that he "murdered" the outfit while wondering if the size of the wrap would permit him to kill somebody today.

It will be recalled that Sam Larry was alongside singer and music producer Naira Marley, implicated in the unexpected and suspicious death of rising music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad, in September 2022. Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested during investigation regarding their alleged involvement in Mohbad's death. The duo regained freedom on the evening of Friday 17th November after fulfilling conditions of the bail granted them on 6th November, 2023 by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos.
