Governor Siminalayi Fubara rebutted remarks made by former Attorney General Zacchaeus Adangor (SAN) and former Works Minister Alabo George-Kelly. He alleged that Adangor undermined his administration by filing a nolle prosequi that went against the state's interests. Regarding George-Kelly's comments, Governor Fubara asserted that he would have risen above Level 14 in the civil service before retirement, having already reached Level 13 as a Chief Account Officer prior to 2023. He acknowledged that his current position as Governor may have been unexpected, but attributed it to divine grace.

He accused his opponents of sabotaging his administration and vowed to make tough decisions moving forward, regardless of how hurtful they may seem.
