In a lengthy but rather cryptic post on his official social media platforms, comedian, actor and Film producer Ayodeji Richard Makun better known as A.Y, has revealed that his friendship and marriage of twenty years to his wife, Mabel Makun, is slipping off his hands. The news of the couple's troubled marriage comes just a few months after they celebrated their 20th anniversary in November 2023.

A.Y's post on the state of his marriage was penned barely three months after his wife, Mabel Makun, alleged threat to life in a series of post on her social media account. Claiming to love the manner in which lies peddled against him are making the rounds on blogs, the comedian assured his followers that no one is completely innocent enough in his marriage and personal affairs to cast stones. Ayo and Mabel Makun have been married since November 2008 and have two daughters together. Mabel is an interior designer and entrepreneur, she's also the CEO of Midas Interiors limited.
