Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly referred to as Portable, has shed light on his controversial decision to exhume and rebury his mother's remains.
The singer, known for his hit track 'Zazu', recently took the step of relocating his mother's body.
In a widely circulated video on social media, Portable explained that he felt compelled to do so because the land where his mother was originally interred had been sold.
Reflecting on his loss at the age of 13, he expressed his intention to erect a lavish mansion on the new burial grounds as a lasting tribute to his late mother.
He said, “I lost my mother at the age of 13. I exhumed her body and reburied her because they sold the land where she was initially buried.”
