Why Earning N200K in Nigeria is Better Than £2000 in UK – Air Peace CEO, Onyema

 Allen Onyeoma, the Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, has opined that individuals earning two hundred thousand Naira (200k) monthly in Nigeria are in a better position than those earning two thousand (2000) pounds in the United Kingdom.

He made these remarks during an appearance on TVC.

Discussing the economic crisis and the strength of the Naira with the host, Onyema expressed his agreement that the primary issue is "artificial."

He further commented: "Go to London, if you earn two thousand pounds a month in London, you're a pauper. What two thousand pounds can afford you is like two thousand Naira."

Continuing, he emphasized: "The person earning two hundred thousand Naira in Nigeria is better."

Onyema also noted that with an income of 200,000 Naira, a Nigerian can afford services such as a maid, a driver, and other domestic staff.

He reiterated his belief that the Naira holds more value than is commonly portrayed when compared to other foreign currencies.

Additionally, he urged Nigerians to refrain from "demonetising" the country.
