Popular Nollywood producer Ikechukwu Nnadi, better known as Andy Best, has passed away. The now deceased film producer who gained popularity in the early 2000s for his production of Nollywood film under his distribution company, Andy Best Production, died on Tuesday March 19 at a private clinic located in Owerri, the Imo state capital. Convener of the Best of Nollywood Awards(BON), Mr Seun Oloketuyi confirmed the film producer's death in a post on his Instagram page. He wrote, “Andy Best, a top Nollywood producer and marketer, is dead. He died in an Owerri hospital."

Until his demise Andy Best who hailed from Imo state was the Chief Executive Officer of Andy Best Production and was behind the production of famous movies, including Lion of Africa, White Poison, My Father’s Cup, My Sweet Sister, Pretty Angels, Queen of My Heart, Rain Makers, No More, Lion of Africa and many more. Andy Best also had a YouTube channel with million of subscribers. His remains have been reportedly deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri.
