The House of Representatives Committee on Financial Crimes has directed the immediate arrest of Binance Holding Limited's CEO, Richard Teng, and its management.
The committee led by the Chairman, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe alleges the company's involvement in terrorism financing and money laundering and issued the arrest warrant after Teng and the management failed to appear before them.

Despite sending a legal representative, Senator Ihengen, the committee dismissed the explanation and voted to arrest the CEO and Management.
This action follows the committee's earlier summons to address concerns raised by the Central Bank of Nigeria regarding money laundering and terrorist financing associated with Binance.
