A 34 year old Zimbabwean woman identified as Stacy Thokozani Mkhandla has been arrested by the authorities for stabbing her husband's lover to death, after she caught the duo having sexual relations on her matrimonial bed. According to to reports, the now deceased woman, 27 year old Brightness Phiri, had been confronted by Stacy whom had discovered her husband's mistress in her home upon her return from an all night church service in the early hours of Saturday 10 February, 2024.

Brightness Phiri who managed to escape subsequent attacks from Stacy, collapsed naked a street away from where the incident occurred andwas rushed to the Gweru Provincial Hospital located in Mkoba. She however, died from the multiple stab wounds inflicted on her by her lover's wife. Midlands provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, who confirmed the incident to the press on Sunday 11th February, said that Stacy had been arrested and will be made to face the full consequences of her actions.
