In a video making the rounds on the internet, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has been criticized by netizens for yet another prayer point considered misleading. In the video, the general overseer who was leading prayers during the church's Annual Youth Convention, prayed that Christians from other denominations would bow before members of The Redeemed Christian of God. It will be recalled that in January 2024, Pastor Enoch Adeboye received heavy criticism for his prayer point where he stated that work colleagues of his church members would beg them for food.

Reacting harshly and negatively to the lastest trending video, netizens accused the general overseer of misleading his congregation and showering them with selfish declarations. They further wondered why other people's downfall is required before members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God can attain wealth or success. These netizens also urged the church on its social media page to urge the general overseer to take his retirement as signs of old age was becoming rather evident in his recent utterances.
