Legendary Nigerian musician, Chief Daniel Iriferi, more known as Chief Sally Young has died at the age of 91.
The famous Urhobo musician who hailed from Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State was said to have died on Sunday after a brief illness.
The music maestro gained prominence in the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s as he ruled the airwaves with hit songs like ‘Oko Oko’, ‘Weji Vwe Vwo’ and many others.

His contribution to Nigeria's music during his added profound depth and meaning to not only Urhobo’s sociocultural heritage, but Nigeria as a whole.
Official confirmation of his death from his family is expected soon.
