Herbert Wigwe: US Government Releases Photos of Helicopter Crash

 Following the tragic death of Herbert Wigwe, group managing director and CEO of Access Bank, alongside his wife, son and three other passengers in a helicopter crash which occurred on Friday February 9, close to the California -Nevada border, the government of the United States has released photos taken from the site of the crash.  One of the passengers aboard the ill-fated aircraft named Eurocopter EC 130, was former Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

The photos of the helicopter crash were shared on the National Transportation Safety Board's X handle on Wednesday, with the caption,"NTSB releases photos of investigators at the site of the Feb. 9, 2024, crash of an Airbus Helicopters EC-130 near Halloran Springs, California." The US Government also detailed revelations from the wreckage site which showed that the helicopter impacted the terrain at a 'nose-low and right-bank angle. The investigators listed these components, which include three main rotor blades, aircraft engine, tail rotor, landing gear, and skids.
