A 200-level student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, identified as Chioma, has allegedly poured hot water on a third year Agricultural Economics student, identified as Mark who happens to be the president of her hostel.
The incident which occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge in Ifite-Awka came on the heels of a disagreement between Chioma and Mark over hostel cleaning.
Chioma was also said to have allegedly stabbed Mark in the process leading to him being taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

A Facebook user with name, Valentine Mbadugha said the female student also stabbed mark.
The altercation between both students according to reports, started over sanitation on school hostel where both of them habited, where Mark was said to be the hostel president.
Mark was said to have reminded Chioma of her duty in joining others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean, an assertion that reportedly made Chioma react violently.
