Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basket Mouth, has thrown a reply at a social media user who accused him of being part of Nigeria's problem. In a tweet, the netizen stated that the comedian had shirked his responsibility of voting for good governance on election day. It will be recalled that Basket Mouth had been harshly criticized by netizens for holding a tour in Germany on 25th February 2023, a day on which the presidential election had also taken place.
Replying the netizen who accused him of being part of the county's problem, Basket Mouth asked a series of questions relating to governance and failed policies in the country, while sarcastically agreeing that he was indeed to blame for these problems affecting the economic development of Nigeria. The comedian asked questions ranging from the current value of the Naira against the dollar to the mythical snake that reportedly swallowed a huge sum of money on the premises of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
