Following the drama that ensued after estranged husband and wife Yul and May Edochie posted extremely different posts recounting their 2023, with May remembering the death of the couple's sixteen year old son, Kambilichukwu, who died in 2023 and Yul declaring it his "best year", the Nollywood actor has taken to social media to reportedly "break his silence" over the events that led to the break down of his marriage to May.

In a post made by the actor, he accused anonymous of having time to have a breast mm enlargement surgery without her husband's consent despite grieving the loss of her son. Yul Edochie also alleged that the surgery was endorsed by a lover while warning the anonymous recipient of his rant to stop manipulating people on social media to hate him and feel pity for her. He declared that he had been silent for too long and fully intends to speak his truth in 2024.
