Following the unspoken but seemingly unanimous decision by netizens and Nigerian youths to adopt the slogan "no gree for anybody" as a motivational theme for the year 2024, spokesperson of The Nigeria Police while addressing the press, has warned that the expression can be potentially dangerous and trigger unrest in the society.

Stating that The Nigeria Police has been informed via intelligence reports that the expression "no gree for anybody" comes from a revolutionary sector, the police spokesperson warned the public on the dangers of the consistent use of the adopted slogan. The spokesperson informed the press that from a "security point of view" and in line with security measures, the expression "no gree for anybody", might be seen as "normal talk" but had underlying connotation that might trigger security concerns and questions.
