President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has donated 54 bicycles to a Chief named Mapanzure, for distribution to village heads resident in Zvishavane. The bicycles were given as Christmas gifts to these traditional rulers at a special event which took place on Tuesday, 26th December 2023 at Lundi Primary School. First Lady of the country, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, also donated Christmas hampers to the wives of village heads present at the same event.

Notice of the president and first lady's donations was given by the Zimbabwean Ministry of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting on its official X handle. The ministry affirmed that the aim of the bicycle gift by the president was to ensure the convenience and mobility of these traditional chieftains during crucial developmental meetings. The ministry further asserted that the government, led by President Mnangagwa, continues its vision of leaving no one and no place behind.
