Nollywood actress Chigozie Stephanie Alichi better known as Chizzy Alichi, has taken to get official Instagram page to announce and mourn the loss of her father. Declaring herself broken and her whole life turned upside down, the actress revealed that her father's death had been the first news she received via phone call this morning. She sadly wondered if she could ever again receive calls "early in the morning". Chizzy Alichi further expressed at the fact that her father passed away before he could carry her children.

Chizzy Alichi who hails from Ezza Nkwubor Nike in Enugu East, a local government area of Enugu State, made headlines when she built a mansion for her parents in the year 2017. She joined the Nollywood industry in 2010 with her first breakthrough being "Akaraoku", a 2016 film directed by colleague, Yul Edochie. In 2019, Chizzy married Chike Ugochukwu Mbah, in a wedding ceremony attended by a large number of Nollywood stars mostly resident in Asaba, Delta state.
