Veteran Nollywood Actor Amaechi Muonagor Critically Ill;Seeks Help

 Veteran Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor, has sought help from well-meaning Nigerians to deal with his failing health. The actor who's currently battling severe stroke, revealed that he had just finished working on a movie set a few months ago when he realised he suddenly lost feeling on both his legs. While expressing gratitude to God that he hadn't been driving when his sudden paralysis occurred, the actor apologized to the public for not speaking up sooner and stated that he had never expected his condition to be this prolonged. Rumours of Amaechi Muonagor's failing health faced surfaced in 2016 when he stopped appearing in movie roles. At the time, it had been assumed that the actor had been dealing with a severe case of diabetes.

In 1989 after his national youth service, Amaechi Muonagor started working with NAN (News Agency of Nigeria). He left his job a few years later for an acting role in his first movie as Akunatakasi in Taboo 1, a Nigerian movie. Known for his comic roles in the Nollywood industry, Amaechi Munagor was nominated for AMVCA 2017 Best Actor In a Comedy.
