Kazakhstan announces visa-free visit for Nigerians

 Kazakhstan has announced that Nigerians will now be able to enter the country without their visas for short stays (tourism).

The move which is part of the country's efforts to attract more foreign tourists, will require Nigerians to still obtain an electronic travel authorization (eTA or eVisa) before entering Kazakhstan.

The eTA, a quick and easy online application process, takes only a few minutes to complete, and can be applied for on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The introduction of the eTA portend that Nigerians will now be able to plan their Kazakhstan trips with more confidence and ease. This is a positive development for both countries, as it will promote tourism and cultural exchange
