A Lagos State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Yaba, on Monday, ordered a return to custody Fisayo Ogedeng, the auxiliary nurse arrested by the police in connection with the death of hip hop artiste, Mohbad.
The 37-year old nurse according to the police, had allegedly given the late singer some injections that led to in his death.
Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, also ordered that Mohbad’s friend, Ayobani Sadiq, (Primeboy), another suspect in the case, be returned to police custody.

A bail was granted in the sum of N20m to each of Mohbad’s ex-boss, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and a Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, who were also questioned in Mohbad’s death and taken into custody by the police on October 6.
“The defendants (Naira Marley and Sam Larry) are hereby granted bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible sureties in like sum pending the legal advice from the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution", the magistrate said.
“Also, one of the sureties must own a landed property. As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”
Magistrate Olatunbosun warned that no one should contact her directly on the case.
“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” she added.
The police says investigation in the case is still ongoing, prompting the magistrate to adjourn the case till November 29 for DPP advice.
