LASG Seals 19 Popular Restaurants and Bars

The Lagos State Government has sealed up 19 bars and restaurants in the state, over safety infractions. According to post on the official social media account of The Lagos State Safety Commission, these affected establishments repeatedly failed to comply with basic safety standards. Director-general of the commission, Lanre Mojola, stated the operators of these establishments flouted numerous notices and requests to submit their safety management systems. The DG also revealed that the restaurants and bars will remain shut until conformity is achieved as safety of citizens who patronize these businesses remains paramount.

Some of the affected bars, lounges and restaurants include; The recently opened Mantra Lagos, Indigo Lagos, Taboo Lagos, Slice Lagos, Tulip Lounge, Farm City, Rumours Night Club, amongst others popular Lagos fine dining and late night entertainment establishments.
