Video: Lauretta Onochie kicked out by her family in UK, becomes stranded as she was fleeing from Tinubu
Sacked chairperson of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie's video in the United Kingdom, has gone viral.
Lauretta Onochie was relieved of her position as the Chairperson of NDDC only a few days by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu. A position she occupied under former president Muhammadu Buhari. According to report, arriving in the United Kingdom, she was giving a hostile treatment by her relatives in the United Kingdom and whom she had gone to live with.
According to reports, she was declared surplus by her relatives who wouldn't want her around. Consequently, she became stranded and homeless in the United Kingdom especially as she is unwilling to return to Nigeria to avoid prosecution by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.
However, a few hours after her video went viral, Lauretta Onochie countered the speculation that she was kicked out by her relatives. According to her, while she lived in Nigeria, she had permitted her cousin and his wife to occupy her apartment in the U.K. At her return, her cousin and his wife who were homeless before she gave them her apartment, refused to vacate her apartment. She alerted the police who forced them out of her apartment.
