Video: "It's Disgusting..."Catholic Priest Reacts to Trending Video of Women Dressed in Wedding Gowns

 Catholic priest and social media commentator Reverend Fr Kelvin Ugwu, has reacted to the now viral video of a group of women at a church service dressed in wedding gowns in order to manifest their husbands by "faith" before the end of the year.  The priest referred to the display as "disgusting", unchristianly and affirmed that that it reeked of desperation. He further said that the rate at which churches ask single women to "pray for husbands" has now become a disturbing trend.

Reverend Fr Kelvin Ugwu demanded to know why these churches were not extending the same "prayer sessions" to men by asking them to put on wedding suits and pray for wives. He also wondered if wearing a wedding gown to find a husband was the ingredient responsible for having a successful and lasting marriage. Fr Kelvin Ugwu warned churches to desist from such ungodly displays and advised people to be careful of the kind of "faith activities" they participated in.
