PDP President Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has become a laughingstock in the wake of the tribunal's ruling in favor of President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
When answering questions on Wednesday following the tribunal's decision, Mr. Shettima said, "Atiku Abubakar is an elder statesman that I hold in the highest regard. Anyone who knows the social-cultural interaction between the Fulanis and the Kanuris in the North will know that I have the liberty to haul all insults at him, and he will bear.
"We won't send him into retirement in Dubai or Morocco. He will be retired to Fombina by me. To be funny, I'll purchase him some goats, broilers, and layers so he can spend his days raising goats and broilers.
However, the vice president claimed that his remark was a joke.
He is a wise man, to put it more seriously. He is required by the country since experience cannot be purchased on the open market. In order to propel the country to a greater level, we will take use of his abundance of knowledge and exposure, according to Mr. Shettima.

The tribunal's decision has been rejected by Mr. Abubakar's party, the PDP, who described it as a verdict against reason, facts, and evidence.

Governors Yahaya Bello and Hope Uzodinma, Mr. Shettima, other governors, and important members of the administration were present to see the verdict.
The three petitions contesting the results of the February 25 presidential election were decided on while they were seated from the start of the court's hearings until around 10:00 p.m.
