Nollywood actor and social media troll Uche Maduagwu also known as "Mr Red Bra" has put up a post on social media telling Nigerians to normalize celebrating divorce. Accompanying the post with a divorce anniversary hashtag, the actor admonished people to stop making divorce look like a funeral as it is not a sign of failure but a celebration of bravery and freedom. He also asserted that people who do not celebrate their divorce are being ungrateful to God because so many people are stuck in bad and unhappy marriages that they are unable to walk out of.

Uche Maduagwu gained social media attention for his rather unusual style of wearing and publicly flaunting red bras. He is also known for his controversial and rather intrusive opinions on celebrity lifestyle/actions, including deeds and misdeeds of his "Nollywood colleagues". Even though Uche Maduagwu labels himself a Nollywood actor, it is unclear which Nollywood films he has featured him. He however insists, that he has been in the Nollywood industry since 2012.
