In a Tweet gradually making the rounds on the internet, an account with the username 99Oppressed has put up a post detailing how a medical doctor harvested a patient's kidney under the guise of performing an appendectomy. The tweet identified the accused as Dr Noah Kekere, a medical officer at Murna Clinic and Maternity, located in Jos Plateau state. According to the tweet, a patient Mrs Kahinde Busari had visited Dr Kekere's clinic with a medical complaint and the doctor had gone on to recommend an appendectomy.

Dr Kekere reportedly spent over 7 hours conducting an appendectomy in 2017, a surgery that's considered minor in medicine. The patient was discharged and soon after, began to experience excruciating pain in her abdomen and Dr Kekere recommended various painkillers that only temporarily abated the problem. Mrs Busari chose to seek a second opinion in 2023 and it was discovered by the Jos University Teaching Hospital that a missing kidney was responsible for the woman's recurring abdominal pain.
The tweet also narrated the arrest of Dr Kekere who after several denials, eventually agreed to harvesting Mrs Busari's right kidney. He blamed the devil for his actions but is reportedly trying to get the police to sweep the case under the carpet.
