Video:"Sound Sultan na One of the Goodest People" 2 Face Overcome with Emotions 2 Years After Sound Sultan's Death

 In a chat session on the podcast Afro Beats with Adesola, Singer and songwriter Innocent Idibia better known as 2 Face or 2 Baba, became overwhelmed with emotions when asked of his friendship with deceased rapper Olanrewaju Fasasi professionally known as Sound Sultan. 2 Face who described the late Sound Sultan as one of the "goodest" people one could ever come across, also subtly implied that medical negligence had partially responsible for his friend's untimely demise as his illness had been consistently misdiagnosed as malaria for a while. 2 Face Idibia also sorrowfully stated that he still hadn't come to terms with Sound Sultan's death despite the passing of time.

Sound Sultan who was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria, died on 11 July 2021 as a result of complications from an earlier diagnosis of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. The deceased singer was notable for using his music to speak against poverty, corruption, bad governance and societal ills in Nigeria. Sound Sultan had a long lasting and close friendship with music colleague, 2 Face Idibia.
