Embattled president of Gabon, Ali Bongo has spoken from detention following his removal in a bloodless military coup in Gabon which truncated fifty three year reign of the Bongos over Gabon.
Ali Bongo had succeeded his father in 2009 and won his third term bid just three days ago before he was ousted.
The military generals while announcing the military seizure o f power, described the general elections conducted in Gabon three days ago, as being massively flawed.
However, Ali Bongo in a video released on the internet, begged his friends and well wishers to " make noise" both locally and internationally.
According to him, the members of his family have been separated from him and he does not know the whereabout of his son and his wife.
Interestingly, videos making the rounds on social media show that the Gabonese are delighted at the current change in system of government in the small central African country. It's widely perceived that an end to the Bongos reign over Gabon is an end to internal colonization of the country.
