Video: moment former Barcelona FC striker, Luis Saurez's boot was stolen while he played on the pitch

 Former Barcelona FC striker and Uruguay international, Luis Saurez's was involved in a mild drama during Gremio's match against Fluminense.

Luis Saurez has in the past been embroiled in controversies especially when his anger escalates out of frustration over his inability to turn the game around to his favour. 

The former Barcelona FC and Liverpool FC striker had his boot stolen and thrown off the pitch by an opposing player. Luis Saurez had been fouled near the touchline. One of his boots had removed from his foot in consequence. While he appealed to the match officials to take note of the incident, an opposing player,Marlon Xavier took possession of the book and threw it out of the pitch. Luis Saurez in his reaction, vehemently protested, appealing to the referee to penalize the player. The referee yellow carded Maxlon Xavier for stealing Luis Saurez's boot and flinging it out of the pitch.
