Soon-to-be Bride Slumps and Dies in The Middle of Bridal Shower

 A 28 year old identified as Rebecca Oyedotun has died on the eve of her wedding. According to witness reports, soon-to-be Bride had slumped while in the middle of her bridal shower at about 8:30pm on Friday 18th August, 2023. Rebecca and her fiancé, Abiodun Oluwadamilare, had been set to walk down the aisle on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State but she eventually gave up the ghost at LAUTECH teaching hospital on Sunday, 20th August 2023.

During a condolence visit, father of the deceased, Evangelist Moses Oyedotun of the C$S Reformed Church, tearfully revealed that his daughter had not shown any prior sign of ill health right until the time she slumped in the middle of her bridal shower. Evangelist Oyedotun further stated that everyone had assumed her condition a minor ailment and had hoped to see her well enough to take her vows on her wedding day. He added that her fiancé was in a deep state of shock as well as inconsolable.
