There are indications that popular socialite and businesswoman, Farida Abdulkadir may be arrested for attempted suicide.
Attempted suicide is a crime under Nigerian laws, with the police ready to swoop on her anytime from now.
Farida, the CEO of the House of Phareedah had tried to end her life over the collapse of her marriage after 8 weeks.
She tried to jump over the Third Mainland bridge before she was rescued by passerby in a viral video.

According to reports, the Lagos State Police Command may invite her over the incident and later arrest her after it has been verified she really tried to kill herself.
Farida decided to end it all after her husband, Ademola Okunlaja was reported to have abandoned her and went back to her former girlfriend, after their society wedding that gulped about N100 million.
In a video trending online, Farida drove to a section of the bridge, parked her vehicle, and was about to jump into the lagoon when some motorcycle riders and motorists prevented her from committing suicide.
She was reported to have spent over N100 million for the wedding with Okunlaja who returned from prison.
It was also reported that she bought a Benz G Wagon for Ademola.
