Lloyd Ike Ekwermadu Jnr, eldest son of former senate president Ike Ekwermadu and his wife Beatrice, has tied the knot in a ceremony which held at the Basilica of Grace Anglican Communion located in Gudu District, Abuja. The marriage ceremony between Lloyd and his bride Tiffany Adaobi Obinna-Uzor took place on Saturday 19th June 2023, was attended by dignitaries across the country. Some of the well-known political figures who were in attendance included:Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kau, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Governor Ademola Adeleke, former Senate President David Mark, and a host of others.

Mother and father of the groom were conspicuously absent as they are currently in the UK serving their prison term after they were found guilty of organ trafficking by a UK Court earlier in the year while trying to obtain a kidney for their ailing daughter, Sonia Ekweremadu. The Ekweremadus were convicted alongside their doctor, Dr Obinna Obeta.
