Peter Obi reacts to report that he is forming alliance with Atiku and Kwakwanso

Peter Obi has reacted to report about his negotiating with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso in view to forming an alliance against president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Exola Tv had reported about Rabiu Kwakwanso's meeting with Atiku Abubakar following his inability to earn himself a ministerial appointment in Tinubu's cabinet. Reports say both Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso who were forefront presidential candidates in the Nigeria's 2023 election, expect the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) to nullify the presidential victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and order a rerun.

However, Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso believe that only a united opposition will be capable of unseating president Bola Ahmed Tinubu should there be a rerun.

Speaking in Benin City yesterday, Peter Obi urged his supporters and members of the Labour Party to disregard speculations about his going into an alliance with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwakwanso. He said the Labour Party (LP) is committed to realizing a new Nigeria whose economy will be production driven.
