Nollywood actor, comedian and musician Nkem Owoh, popularly referred to as Osuofia, has released the funeral plans for his young daughter, Miss Kosisochukwu Nkem Owoh, who passed away on 28th June 2023 after a "brief illness". However, sources report that Kosisochukwu Nkem Owoh had not died from a brief illness but from complications as a result of liver cancer due to financial neglect from her father. Rumours further claimed that while the legendary actor was loved by Nigerian for his humorous demeanour, he had been a tyrannical head to his immediate family. The late Miss Kosisochukwu will be buried in her father's compound in Udi, Enugu state on Thursday, 24th August 2023.

Nkem Owoh is a veteran actor who has made over 200 film and television appearances. In 2008, he won the African Movie Academy Award for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" for his role in the Nigerian film, "Stronger than Pain". He is considered one of the wealthiest actors in Nigeria's film industry, Nollywood.
