Former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has failed to draw sympathy of Nigerians to himself following his allegation of betrayal by his friends.
The former governor was denied ministerial confirmation by the Nigeria's senate; a development which is said to have been influenced by the Nigeria's Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu who denied governor El-rufai security clearance.
It's also reported that former governor El-rufai alleges backstabbing from his political son, Uba Sani, the current governor of Kaduna State. Uba Sani despite disclaiming report that he submitted a name for ministerial position at the expense of El-rufai's choice after he was denied confirmation by the Senate, is said to have fallen out with former governor El-rufai.
Hence, El-rufai uses Bob Marley's songs on betrayal to tell the public that he was sabotaged by his previous benefactors and those he called his friends.
