"You'll Continue To be a He..." Kanayo .O. Kanayo Prays for Son

 Nollywood actor and lawyer Anayo Modestus Onyekwere better known as Kanayo .O. Kanayo, has put up a post on social media, saying a prayer for his son who's set to begin his tertiary education in The United States of America. The proud father whose choice of words stirred mixed reactions on social media prayed for his young son to retain his identity as a "He from Ezinhitte Mbaise in Nigeria". The actor also prayed that his son would focus on his books and job and not tattoos. Kanayo .O. Kanayo rounded off the prayers by wishing his son luck in the new land.

Kanayo .O. Kanayo started his acting career in 1982, acting in productions by the Nigerian Television Authority. He made his debut movie appearance in the year 1992 in the film Living in Bondage.  He has starred in over 100 films and was nominated in 2008 for African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie Across the Niger. In 2006, Kanayo .O. Kanayo won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the movie Family Battle. Kanayo was among various Nigerians honoured by the government in 2014 during the centenary celebration.
