Twitter To Remove The Bird Logo

 Popular microblogging platform, Twitter may be in for a major rebrand if recent information from its owner Elon Musk is anything to go by.

Musk is tinkering with the idea of changing the bird logo of the popular social media platform.

Elon Musk had tweeted :

"And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds"

The new information by Musk came as a shock to many who were not expecting such level of change but it appears might come as soon as Monday.

Musk in a follow-up tweet, said:

 "If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make [it] go live worldwide tomorrow."

"It should have been done a long time ago," Musk said in a Twitter Spaces audio chat, according to a Reuters report.

 X probably is Twitter's business name X Corp, witg Musk also posting a tweet of a flickering X.

Elon Musk had in October 2022 acquired Twitter for $44 billion, in the process making series of big changes to how the platform works and has laid off large parts of the company's staff.

The new logo proposed change is being met with scepticism by a large chunk of Tweeps who have been largely accustomed to the bird logo, with Twitter fondly called the 'bird app'.
